Brackenridge couple denied bail over alleged child abuse

Brackenridge, Pa. – While investigating an alleged complaint of child abuse, authorities found grenades and other items located at a residence in Brackenridge on Friday evening, August 21, 2026.

Allegheny County Children, Youth and Families conducted a welfare check on a 9-year-old boy on Aug. 20. According to the criminal complaint, a caseworker saw multiple severe bruises on the child’s body.

The child had multiple injuries that were described by a doctor as the following: a bruise to his right eye, abrasion to his left eye, a bruise on his forearm, a bruise to the side of his back, severe bruising on the back of his thighs and butt and bruising to his right hand and wrist.

Tyler Slivan and Taylor Slivan were charged and face multiple felony charges in the incident. Both individuals have been denied bail according to online documents.

2. F1 Conspiracy – Aggravated Assault – Attempts tocause SBI or causes injury with extreme indifference
